“The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” will feature female characters

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, Nintendo announced that “The Legendary Legend of Link: Breath Of The Wild” and its “Breath of the Cold” expansion will feature a new playable character, the character Nana, to be played by a male player.

The game will also feature an optional gender-swapping option for players to switch between male and female characters, according to the announcement.

This is the latest in a series of moves Nintendo has taken in recent years, including a major expansion for its Wii U gaming system and the launch of a new console this year, the Switch.

But Nintendo has been known to change direction on major games, and the next installment in the “Legend of Zelda” series, “The Wind Waker HD,” is expected to see its first playable female character.

In 2017, Nintendo also announced that the company would be launching a series for girls called “Princess Mononoke” for the Switch console.
